The 43rd Super Bowl kicks off at 5pm CentralFootball is the new passion of fans across the U.S., and there can be no bigger day for the sport than the Super Bowl. In the 43rd NFL Championship Game, the Pittsburg Steelers will face the Arizona Cardinals; a historically mediocre if not horrible team.
However, the Cardinals have found a star in both quarterback Kurt Warner (led the St. Louis Ram’s to win Super Bowl XXXIV) and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald (pro bowler three out of the last 4 years). The Cardinal’s will have their work cut out for them, facing a devastating Steelers defense led by defensive end Brett Keisel, linebacker James Harrison, and safety Troy Polamalu (pro bowler the last 5 straight years, and Super Bowl XL champ).
The Steelers offense led by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (Super Bowl XL champ) and wide receiver Hines Ward (Super Bowl XL champ and MVP), is nothing to scoff at either. If neither one of these clubs is “your team” you might want to check out a brief writeup from my favorite journal; of ten players you’ll want to watch.
